The goals of the Data Privacy Maturity Model are to tie data privacy to business value, establish a common language across the multi-disciplinary team necessary to deliver privacy, and support overall program planning and roadmap development. The Model enables an organization to set its business strategy for data privacy, and it is a complement to traditional maturity models that support the execution of individual components of that strategy.
The Data Privacy Maturity Model has four stages:
